At House of Avid, we bring your dream dress to life through a personalized, one-on-one design consultation. This is your opportunity to collaborate directly with our expert designer, Jessica Hayes, to create a custom gown that is a true reflection of your style and vision.

What to Expect During Your Consultation:

Your consultation is all about you. We’ll discuss every detail of your dress, from design concepts to fabric choices, appliqués, and embellishments, to ensure your gown is everything you’ve envisioned. You’ll also be measured to ensure a perfect fit. By the end of the session, you’ll receive a personalized price quote based on the complexity and materials required to create your one-of-a-kind piece.

How It Works:

1. Select Your Consultation Type and Event: Be sure to choose the correct options from the drop-down menus when booking to ensure we’re prepared to focus on your specific needs—whether it's for prom, a wedding, or another special event.

2. Bring a Guest: You’re welcome to bring one person to your appointment to share in this exciting experience. Due to space limitations, we kindly ask that only you and one guest attend.

3. Be On Time: We operate on Eastern Standard Time (Atlanta, GA), so if you are booking from a different time zone, please plan accordingly. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, we’ll need to reschedule your consultation.

Payment Process:

- At the end of your consultation, 60% of the total cost will be due to secure your spot on our production schedule and begin sourcing materials. The remaining 40% will be due before your dress is delivered.

- A non-refundable $100 consultation fee is required to book your appointment. $50 of this fee will be applied toward your dress deposit.

Starting Prices:

- Custom Garments: $450+

- Custom Prom Dresses: $1,500+

- Custom Wedding Gowns: $2,500+

- Custom Reception Outfits: $1,500+

Production Timeline:

- Custom Garments: 6-8 weeks

- Custom Prom Dresses: 8-10 weeks

- Custom Wedding Gowns: 8-10 months

- Custom Reception Outfits: 8-10 weeks

Rush Orders:

If you need your dress outside of our standard production times, a rush fee starting at $250 will apply. This fee can range up to $500 depending on how quickly you need your gown.

Out-of-State Clients:

We proudly serve clients across the country and offer shipping for all custom dresses. If you’re out of state, we’ll guide you through the consultation and fitting process virtually to ensure your dress fits flawlessly.

Custom Fitting Appointment:

Once your dress is near completion, you’ll be contacted to schedule your fitting at our design studio. During the fitting, you’ll try on your gown and we’ll assess any needed alterations. Minor adjustments will be made the same day, and you’ll take your dress home with you. If shipping is required, simply let us know during your consultation, and we’ll arrange for alterations remotely if needed.

For Prom Season: Any custom prom dress appointments booked on the 3rd Thursday of the month come with complimentary hair for prom, including bundles or wigs—so you can complete your look in style!
